What a great day! My mom and I drove down to Waxahachie, Texas for the “Around the Campfire” show. Every Thursday evening from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mark “The Cobbler” Miller hosts live entertainment on KBEC Classic Country 1390 AM.

I was the special guest this Thursday. I had so much fun. We talked and talked and laughed about everything from when I got started singing to my dogs, wakeboarding, bungee jumping, my family, my CD and everything. Mark was so easy to talk to. He must have played 7 or 8 songs off my CD and I got to sing live.

I asked Mark why they call him the cobbler. He said once he got into radio he needed a handle. He really is a cobbler by trade, so they call him “The Cobbler”.

Thanks Mark for such a great time. I enjoyed so much talking with you. And I must have since I did not leave for another hour after the show.
