September 16th – 17th, The World Chicken Festival

 

Today we went to London, Kentucky for The World Chicken Festival. There were so many people there. They said 250,000 people passed through the streets. It was Crazy!

 

 

 

I sat up a booth and Roger Parker parked his racing car right next
to me.

 

 

 

 

This is the owner of the Corbin Speedway, John Davis and his family.

 

 

 

 

    I met the Colonel Sanders look alike.

 

 

 

 

The Marines and the Army National Guard was there. These military guys were so much fun.

 

 

 

Sgt. Scott Whittington of the Marines asked if I would come down and try their chin up bar. I did, and I can’t believe I did it! I think they want me to join the Marines, ha.

September 17, 2005

 

 

The owner of the Corbin Speedway, John Davis and his wife asked me if I would sing the National Anthem before the races started on Saturday night after we left the Chicken Festival. Man, I am so hooked on the Car Races!
