Brittany's Journal 2005

October 29th, 2005

I performed the most fun show I’ve ever done for a private party Saturday night. The concert was at the Brock Farms in Corbin, Kentucky. It was called the Halloween Havoc by the Brock Excavation Racing Team.

I sang a variety of tunes from my original songs to old time country, rock and blues. It was great!

People were sitting on hay bails by the fire and several were really dancing up a storm. They served up the best barbeque you have ever eaten.

This is Hugh Brock, the owner of the Brock Farms and one of the most considerate and generous man I have ever met.

This is Melinda and Steve Brock and Coy Ray. Steve owns the race cars for the Brock Excavating Racing Team. Their son, Josh, who is 13 years old, is an incredible race car driver and is moving up to the big leagues.

This is Professional Race car driver Roger Parker (left). We call him Roger “Hollywood” Parker. Steve Brock (right) is the race car owner.

It was so great seeing all these people again and meeting so many others. I was made to feel Very welcome.

Last but not least is a picture of me and my daddy. He and my mom, Mike and Joni Roe (on the left), came all the way from Oklahoma City for my concert. I love them so much and it meant so much to me for them to be there.
