Country Radio Seminar

That afternoon I went to the Renaissance to have lunch with Marita and DJ friend Alan Rowe with WAKG.

Oh, the stories they tell!

Then I had an interview with InterTeenment Magazine. The interview was very personable and relaxed. It was really neat because I knew in the article that I would be communicating with teens. What a privilege.

That evening we went to the Bridge Lounge at the Renaissance where I had a drawing for four DJ’s to will a stress-free all expense paid weekend at the Aztar Casino in Evansville, IN.

Immediately after the drawing we walked down to the Renaissance Ballroom for the New Faces show and visited some more with my DJ friends.

Saturday morning we had a full rehearsal with the band and with Joe Gerecio. I also received the fantastic news that Billy and Chip Davis and Heather Piccinini would be singing backup for me in California next week for the Seventh Annual Vigil of Hope. Talk about voices of angels. These are the best in Nashville.

During my rehearsal a DJ friend of mine Chuck Taylor (right) from the Texas Countdown at KOUL in Corpus Christi came to visit me. It sure was great to see you Chuck

That afternoon we headed to Evansville, Indiana to visit some people at the Aztar Casino before driving home that night. On the way we stopped in Clarksville, TN and had lunch with Bill and Betty McGary, some very special friends of mine.

On my way home now. I will be there three days before flying out to California.
